Remake Demo Leaked Before Official Release Date 'Final Fantasy VII'

PlayStation 4 users who have hacked their consoles have access to Square Enix‘s upcoming Final Fantasy VII Remake demo on Sony‘s servers and downloaded it early. Furthermore, the demo contains files from the title’s final build, beyond what users can play in the actual demo, in its code that details the full game ahead of its March 3 release date.
Extended footage and spoilers for the rest of the game can be found on YouTube and other sites. Although the title is a remake of a 20-year old game, it isn’t a re-release of the exact same title, as it includes revamped mechanics, altered/recontextualized scenes, and new characters. It will also end entirely different given how the title will be split into different installments, which means spoilers for the game’s end boss are also included.
According to Eurogamer, there are hints of at least one location fans are surprised to see available this early in the story this title will cover. This has lead many to believe there are even files left over from the title’s upcoming sequel, which is already in the works. The entire game’s soundtrack is also readily available online.
