FRSC SCRAPS DEADLINE FOR NEW PLATE NUMBERS

The Corp Marshal of the Federal Road Safety Commission, Mr. Boboye Oyeyemi has said that the agency will not put any deadline for change of car plate numbers to the new one.
He said this on Wednesday when he paid a courtesy visit to Abia State Governor, Theodore Orji in an interview with journalists.
The Corp Marshal said the agency would abide by the court ruling that barred it from enforcing the proposal but that motorists will now get the new plate numbers when they go to renew their licences.
Mr. Boboye said that the agency however has a deadline for the enforcement of speed limit device in cars, which is June 2015.
