This morning brought along with it some more snow. I left the house right at 7:00 and it was 30 degrees with snow flurries, wind, and icy patches. I'm back to wearing all my winter layers of clothing. The sun did come out a couple of times for a few seconds just to tease me.I had to watch where I walked because of the ice. There was ice under the snow here at one of the cemeteries and I turned around here because it was pretty slippery.
I walked up and down the main roads in town, up Sale Barn a ways and down toward Happy Trails. Not icy along those roads.
No people out and only a few cars.
A few rabbits hopping about. They can sure move fast when they want to!! Only birds I saw out today were crows.
Walked 6 miles.
Found some coins all in one spot. 1 dime, 3 nickels, and 3 pennies. : )

Later in the morning it started snowing hard and it looked like a blizzard out there.Ken went up to HT for the day but I stayed home. He played around with tractor, a bit too cold to work on the cabin. Will be nice when it warms up so we can finish the cabin this year. I'm looking forward to getting the inside of it done and having fun decorating it.
A spring day in the back yard |
Zoomed in on the cardinal from inside the house. Doesn't his red color pop in the snow?
I got the rest of my house work done for the week. Was going to tackle some more kitchen cabinet painting but just couldn't get excited about doing it, though I do want to get it done soon.I sat by the fire and read for part of the afternoon. : )
It snowed all day and we got about 4 inches, but by the end of the day we saw some blue sky. Wonder what tomorrow will bring.
A happy day to you.
