Yarn Gift, Maple Leaves and Girls in Hats

Kristi and Caleb went grocery shopping and came home with two fun skeins of yarn as a gift for me!  Isn't that sweet?  Caleb apparently wanted to get every single color but his mom let him pick two.  :-)

I was so pleased as I'd been eyeing this yarn.  It's a finer gauge yarn, any suggestions of what to make with this?

I do love a variegated yarn!  I bet a Hitchhiker shawl would look neat in this.

The little green leaf Japanese maple trees that my blog friend Kathy gave us are turning a pleasing peachy color.  Both trees are doing well in our front driveway circle.  The ground is covered with leaves from the Walnut tree.

Funny how the leaf drop under the walnut tree went straight down and the pasture beyond is verdant green.  The sun is setting beyond.. a very autumny day.

My daughter Amy got the two girls, Jenna and Paige, together for a photo shoot of the hats I made and sent to them in Ohio.  I hope they enjoy them and the hats keep their heads warm this winter!!

Well.. I must rush to pack my swim bag and head to the pool.  Have a fine day!!  ((hugs)), Teresa :-)
